**Your responsibilities**:

- Portfolio Operations: Our portfolio companies are the key to our success. You, together with the team, will foster our relationships and support the founders and their teams in strategic, financial and/or operational decisions discuss development progress and financing requirements.
- Portfolio and project valuation: Preparation of financial models in the context of investment decisions, transactions, and implementation of valuation measures for the existing portfolio.
- M&A transactions: Support of M&A and financing transactions both on Pelion and on the portfolio company level, including financial modelling, valuation, structuring, and negotiation and closing of transactions. You will support our management and our portfolio companies in delivering new opportunities and on realizing value in the existing portfolio.
- Expertise & know-how: You will deepen your knowledge of relevant industry trends, technologies, new business models and companies within the energy transition space.
- Growing Pelion: Co-shaping the strategic direction of Pelion in close and continuous collaboration with its management team and lead initiatives to grow our company.

**Your profile**:

- University degree with an outstanding academic track record, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or Sciences
- At least 2 years of work experience in private equity, top-tier strategy or energy market consulting, investment banking or clean tech related start-ups
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Entrepreneurial personality with a high degree of integrity, self-initiative, result-orientation, and strong ability to manage different stakeholders
- Capable of combining the investor’s perspective with an operational skill set to build and manage Pelion’s portfolio and activities
- Passion for renewable energy, climate tech, and related fields
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
- Very good proficiency in English; additional languages preferable
