Team Lead Maintenance and Calibration Systems

**The Position**:
As Team Lead Maintenance and Calibration Systems you will work in an international team based in Germany and be responsible for the development and efficient operation of the global plant maintenance and calibration systems landscape within Boehringer Ingelheim. Moreover, you act as interlink between our Engineering, owners, operators, GBS and IT functions and will play an essential role in ensuring efficiently supported and reliable plant maintenance and calibration processes.
This position can be filled in Ingelheim or Biberach.
**Tasks & responsibilities**:
- As lead of the global user group communities for plant maintenance and calibration, you will develop together with the business templates / best practice examples for plant maintenance, mobile maintenance, predictive maintenance, and calibration.- In close coordination with the owner as well as operators, GBS and IT, you will lead the design and tuning of the future global maintenance and calibration system landscape and interfaces.- With your expertise, you will ensure that the maintenance and calibration tools follow our Engineering data model and strongly support our process improvement and digitalization strategies.- You will be responsible for maintenance, optimization, continuous improvement, and 3rd level support for implemented and/or assigned solutions.- The worldwide harmonization, standardization of plant maintenance and calibration activities will also be your responsibility. This includes the global standardization of the equipment classification system and the associated attributes.- Finally, you will strive process optimization for e.g.: digitalization in plant maintenance and calibration.
**Requirements**:
- Master’s degree in an engineering science or business informatics with longterm experience in plant maintenance and calibration- Leadership skills as well as the ability to work effectively within an international and intercultural environment- Knowledge in agile methods- In depth project management skills especially in resource management, activity planning and cost estimation and good understanding of compliance requirements in a cGMP environment.- Communication skills, client focus, high level of identification with the task and commitment as well as a structured and result-oriented way of working, wiling to adapt and learn new methodologies- Excellent spoken and written English
