Live-in Nanny

**Job Title**: Live-in Nanny for Lovely Family in Germany

**Location**: Countryside in Germany (within train distance to nearby towns and cities)

**Position Type**: Full-time, Live-in

**Salary**: €30,000 nett per annum

**Accommodation**: Private, spacious room with an ensuite bathroom located on the top floor of the family home.

A friendly and welcoming family based in Germany is seeking a dedicated live-in nanny to become a permanent member of their household. The family has three children—two in primary school and one in kindergarten—and is looking for someone who is warm, reliable, and passionate about childcare.

This is a wonderful opportunity to join a kind, respectful family that truly values their nanny. The family’s previous nanny, who stayed for several years, has expressed a great experience with the position, highlighting the well-balanced workload and the ample downtime once a rhythm is established.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide general childcare and support for the three children.
- Weekly changing of children’s bed linens.
- Laundry and ironing duties.
- Prepare meals for the family.
- Light housekeeping (with weekly deep cleaning support from a cleaner).
- Occasional dog walking (must love animals).
- Sole charge of children during family travel and when parents are away on business trips.
- A nurturing yet firm personality, with a proactive and independent approach.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- A genuine love for children, with proven childcare experience.
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Current DBS/Police check, driver’s license, and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one promptly).
- Excellent references and a flexible, adaptable attitude.
- Willingness to travel with the family on holidays.
- Enjoys being active, playful, and engaging with children.
