**Senior Big Data Architect (M/F/d)**

Up to 95% is possible remotely; 5% on site in Düsseldorf required

**Your Tasks**:

- You design, develop, and maintain complex data architectures, including data lakes, SQL databases, and big data infrastructures.
- You translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- You lead the integration and management of streaming analytics platforms, such as Kafka and Apache Flink.
- You promote the use and optimisation of Cosmos DB and related database systems.
- You use business intelligence tools to transform data into actionable business insights.
- You drive the company's data strategy within the Azure cloud environment.
- You implement and promote best practices in data architecture and technology.
- You work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to fulfil data-related requirements.
- You collaborate on a variety of digital technology projects. (including Industry 4.0, Robotic Process Automation, etc.)
- You support us in our digital transformation by advancing the implementation of our WEPA.cloud.

**Your Profile**:

- **Qualification**:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline
- **Experience and Know-how**:

- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in data architecture or a similar role
- Demonstrated success in designing and rolling out large-scale data solutions
- Prior experience with Azure Cloud is essential.
- **Languages**:Fluent in English; German, French or Italian would be a plus
- **Capabilities**:

- Mastery in SQL and Python, with a solid grasp of Cosmos DB and related database systems.
- Expertise in data modeling and architecture.
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical action plans.
- Comprehensive understanding of big data ecosystems, including data lakes and streaming analytics.
- Practical experience with Kafka, Apache Flink, and other data streaming platforms.
- In-depth familiarity with Azure Cloud and its suite of data services.
- Strong proponent of agile methodologies and practices.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest trends and best practices in the data domain
