**Purpose**: This position is responsible for maintaining work scheduling data, work status-to-date, process controls and forecasts completions and computations of various tasks on contract units. Prepares, transfers, systematizes, and preserves both written and computerized communications and records. Gathers and distributes information and accounts for stores of materials.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily.
1) Compiles and records production data to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production, performing any combination of the following duties.
2) Compiles and records production data from such documents as the customer order, in shop work orders, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures.
3) Calculates such factors as types and quantities of items produced, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates.
4) Writes production reports based on data compiled, tabulated, and computed, following prescribed formats.
5) Maintains files of documents used and prepared.
6) Prepares written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.
7) Compiles material inventory records and prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
8) Charts production based on statistics compiled for reference by production and management personnel.
9) Personnel shall possess a functional knowledge of the Army Supply system.
10) Participates in the maintenance planning cycle.
11) Ensures scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions are entered and completed in Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).
12) Understands and follows all Company and Government policies, procedures, and directives.
13) Follows all Safety directives for APS-2.
14) Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualification & Experience Requirements**:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.
1) High School graduate or equivalent
2) Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
3) Knowledge of the GCSS-A is required.
4) Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent. Must be able to produce GCSS-A Training and Certifications (GTRAC) within 30 days of hire.
5) Must have a comprehensive knowledge of maintenance repairs on a variety of equipment.
6) Ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.

7) Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.
8) Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
9) Must be able to meet and maintain all base access security requirements.

10) Must be able to meet and maintain all Logistics Information System (LIM) access requirements (Common Access Card).

**Preferred**:
1) Background in in military production control

**Specialized knowledge and skills**:
1) Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
2) Ability to independently operate with mínimal supervision.
3) Must possess a strong knowledge of logistics and maintenance.
4) Must have demonstrated leadership and management skills, including a professional demeanor.
5) Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with other effectively.
6) Driver’s license is required.

**Additional Requirements**:
**1) LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS**:

- Formal Training: GCSS-A certification and/or Military AIT/industry 40hr course equivalent. Must be able to produce GCSS-A Training and Certifications (GTRAC) within 30 days of hire.

**2) PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:

- Stooping, sitting, kneeling, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves-51+ with the assistance of another person, touching dexterity (hand and finger), carrying, clear seeing-general, close vision, color perception, clear speech, driving vehicle, moving objects.
- Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively up to a 48-hour work week.
- Must be able to endure long hours (overtime as required).
