Production Planner

AERQ is a joint venture between LG Electronics and Lufthansa Technik which stands for the digitalization of the airplane cabin. We are currently looking for a

**Production Planner (M/F/d)**
To join our Operation team.

**What you will do**:

- Perform production planning including management (creation/ revision/ execution) of production orders and work plans in ERP (setup and maintain master data)
- Support production manager with necessary data to perform staff capacity planning
- Develop, optimize and implement production flows to meet production targets
- Analyze the data and provide input to optimize the production and data quality (i.e. proper manhour recording, zero escape policy, tooling traceability) of production process
- Initiate special measures for production flow improvements in coordination with production manager
- Material management and demand planning to ensure availability of material for the production department, in collaboration with engineering, purchasing department, after market team and program management
- Define and develop parameters and strategies to execute material management in an efficient, economical and reliable way
- Setup and maintain material master data. Implement appropriate IRP and MRP strategies to secure timely availability for the production needs (quality, time and cost)
- Initiate corrective actions and measures in case of deviations
- Manage the logistics supply chain for production and ensure timely availability of material
- Control material/ logistics flow (inbound/outbound) to ensure production and dispatch between production department and service providers, subcontractors, warehouses, etc. including coordination of customs related processes and activities
- Support the continuous improvement for production planning processes (production flow, sub-contracting, material management and logistics)
- Take over special task and projects (i.e. requirements definition to set-up ERP/ PLM)

**Who you are**:

- Completed technical vocational training in a technical profession, ideally electronics.
- Multiple years of experience in an environment of parts/ component manufacturing, maintenance, aircraft maintenance or a comparable task
- Knowledge of business basics
- Knowledge of aviation legislation preferred
- Clear verbal and written (technical) conversation skill, ability to work in cross a functional team
- Experience in methods of process analysis and change management
- Good disposition and planning skills, persuasiveness, assertiveness
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Good IT skills (SAP Hana, MS Office)
- Good contact and cooperation behavior, creativity, self-motivated, ability to work independently and target oriented
- Willingness for duty travels and willingness and ability to take further job related education
