We are currently looking to hire a

**Deputy Director Finance**

You will join the Finance department and directly report to the Director Finance, directly interact with our Management Team and represent the Director of Finance in case of absence.

Be part of our new 4 day work week, 32 hours, on full payment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Budget Preparation and Subsequent Performance Controlling**: You’ll be in charge of our overhead costs cost-controlling, monitoring transactions across the group and report those against the cost budget. You are asked to develop dashboards and reports for the Board of Directors as well as conduct ad hoc reports. You will be working closely with our Finance Director as well as Managing Directors and local accountants to conduct & verify transactions.
- **Commercial Sales**: You’ll review the cost and effort estimations prepared by Sales within the offer phase in order to ensure a solid base for pricing decisions and thereafter the controlling within the implementation phase.
- **Project Controlling**: You’ll make use of our project based time recording approach in order to provide transparency on project success e.g. in terms of resource usage vs. planned costs and margins. You will identify areas to improve our cost estimates or our processes.
- **Cashflow Forecast**: You will work with our Controller in order to provide an accurate Cashflow Forecast across the Group and improve the corresponding processes e.g. by implementing new tools or queries to facilitate the weekly update.
- **Cash Management**: You will be involved in the payment process and facilitate the cash pooling across the Group.

**Your Profile**:
We are explicitly looking for someone to drive and add value, bringing new ideas and tools to our department and rethinking established processes and structures.

**Required Knowledge Base**:

- A very good degree in business administration with a focus on Controlling, Finance and Accounting
- Initial professional experience in a Controlling position
- An independent, solution-oriented, reliable and careful way of working
- Hands-on mentality, high level of trustworthiness and reliability
- Confident handling of common MS Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience in at least one ERP or accounting system
- Excellent written and spoken German and good English. While our company language is English, our local business partners require fluent German as well.
