Analytical Data Architect

As an Analytical Data Architect, you will play a significant role in our Data & Analytics team, which is based in our IT Division and goes over Europe. Your work will contribute to creating a cohesive, easy-to-understand analytical data layer that empowers all analytical units within our organization. You’ll be the main interface between IT and business, collaborating with data architects, the data integration team, BI, and business data analysts.
- You'll add transparency to our company's data stack across multiple analytical units, and you'll be a key adviser throughout the development process. With your excellent analytic approaches, you'll bring clarity and insight to our analysts.
- In charge of the data integration process, you'll collaborate with the Product Teams, identifying and supplying potential data objects/sources. You'll also collaborate with the Business Data Analyst to build business logic, and provide critical data/information requirements from an analytical perspective, establishing the framework for future KPI transparency.
- You'll work with analytical units to educate their business analysts on our company's data model and data stack, ensuring they are well-equipped to face business challenges. As a result, you'll ensure the central concepts are widely understood and, thereby, minimize inconsistencies in data interpretation.
- Working alongside the (Area) Product Owners and Data integration team, you'll address any gaps in legacy data on the company's data platform, and discuss best practices regarding data.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Gaining comprehensive understanding of the company's data landscape, business processes, and strategy, with a special emphasis on data aspects. This will enable you to identify potential data objects/sources.
- Assisting product teams with issues related to Data Model/Design.
- Providing expert guidance to business data analysts to develop business logic.
- Developing and managing information by providing de-normalized raw data and pre-aggregated data sets for all business notes, in order to support decision-making.
- Collaborating with cross-functional data and products teams to identify potential data sets that should be accessible on the company data platform.
- Ensuring data quality by identifying issues, proposing solutions, and setting rules.
- Conducting training and onboarding sessions for analysts to ensure knowledge transfer and familiarization with the data stack and analytical tools.
- Developing professional reports, dashboards, and presentations that are bolstered by detailed analytical observations and data evidence.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Statistics, or equivalent experience in data and business analytics.
- Exceptional data modeling skills (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and basic best practices, with the ability to learn other analytical tools.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including evaluation, analysis, and visualization.
- Knowledge about cloud environments, data lake/ big data environments Experience with ETL.
- Proficiency in Python or other programming languages would be a plus.
- Good understanding of available analytical tools.
- Knowledge of OLTP vs. OLAP vs. Big Data.
- Understanding of agile software development.
- Ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
