**ABOUT THE TEAM**

We are an international team developing an open-source security and compliance platform for our developers. Our focus is to reduce the workload on the developers utilizing a shift left approach. We work in an agile setup over 2 continents, all meetings are held in English.

**THE ROLE**

Open source security is an increasingly important topic in software development, even before the now infamous log4j vulnerability. We are looking for a working student to support us in our mission ensure security in our development process. Our solution reports vulnerabilities to the developers and we need additional help in analyzing these results. This can include analyzing the found vulnerabilities, linking them to the code they originate from and identifying incorrectly reported vulnerabilities. Building on this you would help us understand why a vulnerability was reported incorrectly and (ideally) help develop a fix.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer science or related field
- Computer skills: programming skills in a language like Go, Python or Java
- Language skills: fluent in English
- Soft skills: detail oriented, team orient, self-motivated
