**Meet Your Team**: Playtime Supply

Playtime Supply is building a unique software solution for app and game developers that puts users’ needs first. Instead of traditional monetization mechanisms, Playtime builds an engaging ad experience in which users can play and earn rewards for various new mobile games in Playtime. To predict which mobile game will best suit a user, the team has introduced ML algorithms.

The software depends on two main components.

1. adjoe’s Android mobile SDK - written in a combination of Java and Kotlin - which can be bundled by developers in their apps.
2. The team’s highly scalable Golang backend, which is hosted on AWS and is otherwise responsible for developing a modern React (TypeScript) dashboard that provides adjoe’s clients and Business team colleagues with fast-loading insights.

Tasks
- Contribute to the development of our backend written +99% in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend (based on TypeScript React). To do this, you’ll use event buses like Kafka, SQS/SNS, and Kinesis in order to have a reliable asynchronous microservice communication.
- Work in a community of developers with whom you’ll share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
- Continuously search for ways to decrease the API response time for complex queries - we work with a few hundred terabytes of data.
- Support partners by providing them with raw or aggregated data based on their business needs - we believe in data transparency and well-documented open APIs.
- Be responsible for collecting the billions of daily API events and aggregating them in our Kafka and Kinesis streams with the goal of querying them from the data lake in a matter of seconds.
- Learn in a supportive environment that refines your potential and gives your career a solid foundation.
- Be part of an international English-speaking team dedicated to scaling our AdTech platform beyond our hundreds of millions of monthly active users.

**Requirements**:

- You have gained experience working in software development
- You are a technology nerd and are able to get involved in new, complex topics quickly
- Knowledge about databases and a basic understanding of Regular Expressions, HTTP protocol and Encoding
- Experience working with infrastructure as code (terraform), Docker and serverless infrastructure is a plus
- a bonus: You have gained first professional experience in software development
