For our team in Germany, we are currently looking for a

**Sales & Marketing Intern - EU Distributed Solar**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Support sales team by conducting market analysis, identify potential partners in key markets, analyze competitive landscape in ESS
- support sales team in different topics such as business strategy, customer engagement plan, marketing, other tasks required by management
- Work closely with business teams and nurture cross-functional collaboration, propose new ideas based on findings
- Assist sales team with developing external and internal documentation
- Support preparation of sales promotions/events and conferences, developing targeted marketing material
- Support with running competitive analysis on strategic marketing

**Requirements**:

- University Degree (business administration, economics, engineering, marketing) with a corresponding focus on energy or sustainability. An above-average bachelor's degree is a prerequisite.
- Have a basic understanding of distributed solar solutions in Europe and/or Middle East & Africa;
- Previous experience (incl. internship) in conducting commercial and financial analysis, market study and company research is highly preferred.
- MS Excel skills to compile and process business and financial data and work with MS Powerpoint.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter and problem solver.
- Very good analytical skills including the ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and recommendations.
- Real team player and good organization skills.

**Languages**:
Business fluent in English. Other European language skills such as German, Spanish, Polish, Dutch or French will be a plus. Chinese as a bonus.
