At Danfoss Silicon Power we are currently looking for a **Lab Technician (M/F/d) Power Electronics** to join our R&D team in **Ismaning, Munich area**. In this role you will oversee our lab equipment and testing of power modules within our newly renovated and world-class level equipped lab, the “SiC Center of Excellence”.

**Responsibilities**:
Within our R&D team for Power Electronics you will be the first point of contact to support the engineers with testing power modules used within the Automotive, Renewables, and other industries. You will prepare and set-up test benches, run the tests and closely collaborate with the R&D engineers. Key of your tasks will also be to continuously develop the test equipment and processes, further automate testing and ensure best in class testing facilities. Additionally, you will handle administrative processes regarding the test equipment (e.g. maintenance), ensure test and equipment documentation as well as Danfoss safety standards.

**Background & Skills**:
For this position you hold a certified electrical technician degree or equivalent educational background in electrical engineering with first years of experience from a university, scientific or corporate testing environment / laboratory. Additionally, we are looking for:

- Good knowledge in Power Electronics testing processes
- Very good knowledge of safety standards and guidelines in power electronics labs
- High self-motivation and ability to organize own tasks
- Team-oriented and motivated to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Very good English skills, German skills are a plus
