Field Test Coordinator

OVERVIEW

SRAM Product Development is seeking a detail oriented, collaborative team player to act as the liaison between product development teams and field test riders. Field test team members facilitate testing in real world riding conditions and gather data to ensure we are delivering performance and quality to our customers. This position will be focused on E-Drive.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead product development teams in field testing: develop test plans, identify riders, manage field test sample logistics (ordering, preparing, shipping), communicate expectations to riders, write initial user manuals, develop and run surveys and provide technical support to test riders
- Collect and report field data
- Assist engineers in getting to the root cause of field issues
- Support local field test bike builds and maintain local field test common bikes
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with riders and cross functionally within SRAM
- Stay up to date with the current bicycle component landscape
- Contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the field test program

QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 year degree or equivalent experience
- Mechanical aptitude, strong technical problem solver
- Bicycle mechanical skills a plus
- Strong, proactive communication skills
- Highly organized, methodical, detail oriented
- Ability to quickly learn new tools and skills, adapt to changes and to multitask
- Ability to work independently: setting and meeting own deadlines
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally - approximately 4 trips per year
