Giesecke+Devrient is looking for a System Architect (M/F/d) for its Service Design & Portfolio department at its Munich Headquarters as soon as possible.
**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for funtional design of our software systems and the integration into the wider landscape.
Starting with requirement management through to technical design you will be responsible for clarification, documentation and verification with diverse stakeholders, management of requirements regarding registration as tickets as well as the creation and contribution to requirements specification documents.
Being the pricinciple architect you will also be responsible for the creation of technical design concepts in the form of architecture sketches, presentations and discussions of solution options with stakeholders, detail solution descriptions and creation of SysRS documentation.
In specific cases create proof of concept implementations where it seems appropriate.
Evaluate new technologies and identify, manage and cooperate with suppliers.
Actively manage the cost - time - quality triangle and ensure the operability of solutions.
**Process integration**: Solutions shall fit into existing processes or ideally shall even provide improvement options to business processes.
Discuss solution proposals with stakeholders and identify process improvement potentials and avoid negative process impact.
Your qualifications
Degree either in computer science, engineering sciences, physics or comparable fields of expertise
Development process, CI/CD pipelines and according tool chain
Awareness of operational impacts of design decisions
Certification in a recognised Enterpise Archtiecture framework such as TOGAF prefered
