So far, our products have already avoided using over 7 million plastic bottles and producing countless tonnes of unnecessary CO2 emissions and chemicals. Together, with you as** Legal Counsel(all genders)**, we want to take everdrop to the next level. In doing so, you will be a supporting part of our mission to inspire people to opt for sustainable cleaning agents in their everyday life. **Your tasks**: - You are mainly responsible of supporting and advising the management on all legal matters. - You are responsible for the mother company and subsidiaries “Corporate Housekeeping". - You harmonise and centralise all the group's corporate documents. - You ensure compliance of the terms and conditions of the online sales, in all jurisdictions. - You establish and update template contracts (for suppliers, resellers, influencers, NDA, ). - You play an important role in negotiating mergers and acquisitions. - You are responsible for drafting and implementing compliance policies (GDPR, Money Laundering, Conflict of Interest, Anti-Corruption, Fair competition...) and training the employees in such matters. - You are responsible for monitoring IP rights with external attorneys, and you monitor new regulations (Regulatory Watch). - You assist on regulatory filings (if applicable). - You represent everdrop in disputes. - You coordinate external lawyers and coordinate/implement ESG matters with external service providers. **Our benefits**: - Varied and meaningful work for one of the leading sustainable start-ups. - Great team spirit, collegial atmosphere with flat hierarchies and lots of fun. - An everdrop box packed with our products every month. - Family & Friends discounts. - A great, bright office with everything your heart desires and right by the Isar river. - Numerous team events. - Sports offers such as weekly bootcamp and yoga sessions. - Flexible working hours and location. - 30 vacation days - on top Christmas and New Year's Eve off. - Green & Social Impact Days: 2 days of paid leave per year for your own personal environmental or social projects. **Your profile**: Short & sweet: We like doers Even more than qualifications on paper we value passion about sustainability and the motivation to make the world a little cleaner with us. That's why we're looking for new colleagues with drive, a proactive approach and a hands-on mentality - and of course a healthy dose of humour. - You have successfully completed the 2nd Staatsexamen (2nd State Examination). - You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience as a legal counsel, ideally in a start-up / e-commerce environment. - You are a “legal all-rounder” in corporate and commercial law, with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new areas of law. - You already have first experiences in data security and compliance. - You can develop balanced, precise and practical legal solutions and communicate them to internal and external clients. - You have a very good understanding of business contexts and you are good at process thinking and process flows. - You stand out for your pragmatic, solution-oriented way of thinking and working. - You are customer oriented and flexible. - You are accomplished in communication and organisational skills. - You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills (C1).
