In this high-impact role, you will be a key member of our Indirect Procurement team, reporting directly to the Group Manager of Indirect Procurement at the Berlin Gigafactory. Your expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and project management will play a critical role in supporting Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.

**What You'll Do**
- Lead sourcing, contracting, and supplier management activities for key categories, including business services (e.g., contingent labor), industrial services and environmental services (e.g. waste management) to drive Tesla's growth and operational excellence.
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, ensuring performance, service continuity, and alignment with ESG and compliance standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders in EHS, Operations, Engineering, HR, Finance, Legal, and Sustainability ensuring procurement is aligned with overall business objectives and requirements.
- Identify and drive cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk mitigation opportunities through continuous improvement and demand management.
- Leverage data and digital tools to provide transparency, track KPIs, and make informed decisions.
- Contribute to broader procurement transformation initiatives, such as digitalization, sustainability strategy, and supplier diversity programs.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of cost drivers, market trends, and new technologies to provide data-driven insights for procurement decisions.
- Utilize in-house procurement tools (e.g., CLM, RFQ & SRM tools) sourcing guidelines and support contracting approvals, ensuring timely and compliant processes.

**What You'll Bring**

With a passion for indirect procurement and a commitment to sustainability, you are driven to oversee and elevate procurement activities across diverse categories. You bring a strategic mindset, proven leadership, and the ability to implement impactful solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management, with a focus on business services (e.g., contingent labor).
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and efficiency improvements in indirect spend categories while fostering strong supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable procurement strategies.
- Proven ability to work independently and make decisions, while also being an effective team player when collaborating within the indirect procurement team and across departments.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to build relationships and influence outcomes.
- Fluent in English; strong preference for German speakers. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
- Experience with responsible sourcing principles and sustainable procurement practices, including familiarity with sustainability reporting or eco-friendly initiatives.
- Location: Spend more than 80% at our Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg in Grünheide (Mark) with occasional travel to vendor locations.
