SolidFlow batteries store energy in organic molecules. The absence of explosive materials makes them safe, the use of socially and ecologically conflict-free raw materials makes them sustainable and the almost unlimited availability of materials makes them scalable and cheap to procure. This makes our patented SolidFlow technology a game changer in the development of a global climate-neutral energy system.

**From**start-up** to**scale-up**:we're**tackling**it**together**

CMBlu Energy is developing from a start-up focussing on research into a manufacturing scale-up that is on its way to series production. Around 240 employees are working towards this goal at CMBlu Energy. Our head office is in Alzenau near Frankfurt, with a branch office in Obernburg. There are also subsidiaries in Athens, Greece and Petaluma, USA.

Your tasks
- Organization of the daily laboratory routine incl. technical management and contact person for the chemical laboratory technicians and technical employees
- Planning and documentation of syntheses (results tables, etc.)
- Literature research on existing and potentially interesting molecules in energy storage
- Checking the documentation of laboratory staff
- Basic knowledge in the field of battery storage materials
- Reporting research results to superiors (project status reports)
- Training of safety-relevant documents for laboratory staff

Job requirements
- Successfully completed studies in chemistry with a focus on inorganic chemistry or a comparable education, with a doctorate
- Very good knowledge in the field of solid-phase synthesis and characterization of inorganic materials
- Professional experience in the field of battery technology
- Clean, structured and careful way of working
- High degree of independence and reliability
- Practical approach to complex problems.
- Flexibility and ability to work in a team
- High safety awareness a) in handling large quantities of hazardous substances b) in handling technical facilities and equipment
