As Chief Legal Counsel you are a senior member and stakeholder of the German management team. You will report directly to the VP, General Counsel, Corporate Commercial and M&A - based in Denmark and you will need to build up a small team in Germany. The main purpose of your job is to be an enabler for better business decisions in one of our significant markets across all Coloplast's business areas: Ostomy Care, Continence Care, Advanced Wound Care, Interventional Urology and Voice and Respiratory Care. You act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner who serves as a center of expertise within our business areas in Germany, Austria & Switzerland.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:
Work closely with the leadership team in Region DACH to support strategic business objectives and initiatives
Design legal pathways for commercial roll-out of new products throughout Region DACH
Manages impactful and strategic projects to advance the legal and business area objectives
Liases with other legal teams as well as related functions globally and locally, such as Compliance, Interllectual Property, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs etc.
Prepares, reviews, and negotiates a wide variety of large and highly complex contracts and agreements for the assigned business areas
Assesses legal risks across Region DACH and develops appropriate risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with relevant stakeholders

**You come with**:
Fully qualified lawyer (completion of the 2nd state examination) in Germany with several years of relevant senior experience, master's degree in law or similar master's degree a plus
Ideally focused on Med-tech, Pharma or similar
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to create trust and influence at all levels in the organization
Excellent stakeholder management skills
Forward-thinking with good commercial understanding and ability to balance legal risks with business risk and business needs
Strong personality with team spirit
Business fluent in German and English
