**NDT Level III Inspector**
Intertek is currently seeking an experienced **NDT Specialist** with **Level III certification**, with a strong background in **Radiographic Testing (RT)** and additional expertise across multiple NDT disciplines. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a dynamic and growing team, based in or near **Bergen, Norway**.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**NDT Coordination & Project Management**:

- Review assignment instructions to ensure clarity and feasibility.
- Lead and coordinate NDT activities, managing teams of Level II technicians.
- Allocate resources, manage schedules, and track team performance.
- Collaborate with clients to define inspection scopes and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure inspections of mechanical systems (e.g., piping, pressure vessels) meet customer and regulatory requirements.

**Inspection & Reporting**:

- Conduct or witness inspections at manufacturing sites and installations.
- Produce detailed inspection reports with accurate and timely submission.
- Perform Second Party Inspections to verify compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Identify and report non-conforming materials or processes; implement corrective actions.

**Safety, Compliance, and Innovation**:

- Adhere to Intertek’s quality standards, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Leverage modern tools like e-reporting systems and Remote Video Inspections.
- Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies in all work environments.
- Investigate safety incidents and drive continuous improvement in safety practices.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
**Education & Certification**:

- **NDT Level III certification** is **mandatory**.
- **Level II certifications in UT, VT, PT, and MT** are highly preferred.
- A relevant university degree or technical diploma is ideal; however, **10+ years of NDT experience** may substitute formal education.

**Professional Experience**:

- **10+ years** in NDT, including **X-ray and multi-method inspections**.
- Proven experience in **team leadership** and project management within inspection environments.
- Skilled in organizing complex workflows and optimizing resources.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Proficient in English (spoken and written).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license (essential for on-site inspections).
- Commitment to workplace safety and environmental compliance.
