**Regional Commodity Buyer (m/w/d) for indirect purchasing - Operations and Facility Management commodities**

The Buyer will assist in driving the development and implementation of AGCO’s regional commodity strategies resulting in best-in-class quality, delivery, and total cost of ownership. Additionally, the Buyer supports Regional Commodity Manager through RFQ execution, negotiations, market analysis, strategy development, contract management as well as data gathering and analysis. The Buyer also supports the Global team by identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for both transactional and strategic purchasing. Success measured is based on spend addressed, value delivered, and overall service to stakeholders.

**What You Will Do**
- Accountable for savings target development and execution
- Manages priorities and competing demands, effectively managing internal customer expectations
- Responsible for RFQ preparation, execution and analysis and contracting with the selected supplier in his responsibility area
- Support the Regional Commodity Manager in successfully contracting suppliers to provide AGCO with cost-optimized commodities.
- Work with Commodity Manager to support the Supplier Performance Review, including the coordination and support on-site supplier assessment / certification audits
- Continuous improvement activities that drive down total cost

**What You Will Bring**
- Bachelor's degree in a Business or related disciplines (ie. Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management)
- 3+ years of experience within indirect Purchasing area (e.g. as a Buyer), specifically in a manufacturing environment or with a manufacturing company)
- Business fluency in English & German
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel, including the ability to create Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS

**A Plus If You Have**
- Understanding of multi-step strategic sourcing processes, e-commerce tools, insourcing, outsourcing and/or implementation of large projects
- Experience working with a Purchase to Pay, ERP system
