As a Working Student - Power Trading Assistant (M/F/d) at Convex Energy, you will support our intraday trading team. You'll gain invaluable experience in the energy trading industry and an in-depth understanding of trading models and market analysis. With the guidance of experienced professionals, you will have the opportunity to impact our business, develop your skills and launch your career in a challenging and exciting environment.
Tasks
- You support the development of power trading strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams such as traders, data scientists, and developers.
- You assist in the improvement of existing trading models and tools used in the intraday power trading process.
- You ensure the stability and optimal performance of trading tools used by our team.
- You collaborate with team members to resolve any operational issues with our tools that arise during the trading process.
- You perform ad-hoc tasks as required to support the overall functioning of the intraday trading team.
**Requirements**:
- You are studying in Berlin with 1.5+ years of studies remaining in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- You are available to work 20 hours per week
- You have a strong interest in the energy markets and trading
- You are proficient in Python and experienced with Excel and VBA
- You have strong communication skills in English
- You possess a mindset of success and the ability to overcome challenges
- You enjoy teamwork and have a proactive, results-driven approach
