Job Description Summary

Maintain NMR facility (monitor operational status, perform cryogen fills, maintenance of the probe, haskris unit, helium compressor, and other components of the instruments. Maintain checklists for safe use of the systems by different users, and keep logs of instrument performance parameters).Plan, design and implement collaborative NMR projects for the broader biomedical research community at UPenn and CHOP, and help train students in biological NMR methods.

**Job Description**:
Maintain NMR facility (monitor operational status, perform cryogen fills, maintenance of the probe, haskris unit, helium compressor, and other components of the instruments. Maintain checklists for safe use of the systems by different users, and keep logs of instrument performance parameters).

Plan, design and implement collaborative NMR projects for the broader biomedical research community at UPenn and CHOP, and help train students in biological NMR methods.

Implement experiments for the Sgourakis Lab from published pulse programs, and assist in recording data. Assist in the preparation of grants to support the NMR center. Engage with industry partners and help bring in collaborations. Perform additional duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:
Master's Degree with 3-5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required, Doctoral degree preferred.
