People Experience Intern

Upvest is one of the few fintechs in Europe that can provide its B2B clients with the full range of investment opportunities in the areas of principal broking business, proprietary trading, and safe custody business for traditional securities. Upvest’s clients include some of the biggest Fintechs in Europe such as Revolut, N26 and Raisin. The company was founded in 2017 by Martin Kassing and currently employs more than 180 people across Europe. Its latest €100m fundraising round (Series C) was led by Hedosophia and Sapphire Venture, with continued support from existing investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, BlackRock, Earlybird, HV Capital, Motive Ventures, and Notion Capital.

We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. Our mission and vision is to make investing as easy as spending money.

We are looking for a **People Experience Intern** to join our dynamic team for a 6-month internship.

**This role will give you the opportunity to**:

- Support the organisation of the UpFest 2025 festival, the highlight of our annual event calendar.
- Gain hands-on experience in event organisation, experience design, and community engagement.
- Plan and execute your own small projects.
- Contribute to a fast-growing scale-up company and help shape our culture.
- Be part of a vibrant community of interns and working students at Upvest.

**Job requirements**:

- You are proactive, hands-on, and eager to learn.
- You have some experience in customer service, hospitality, or event organisation — or you're excited to gain it.
- You are organised, detail-oriented, and take initiative.
- You approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude.
- You are passionate about creating great experiences and enjoy working alongside event and community professionals.
- For this role we require fluency in both English and German.
- The role is office-based and in Berlin.
- What are the characteristics of a great experience?
- Your catering order gets cancelled 15 minutes before lunch. What do you do?
