Payroll Specialist

**Your Tasks**:

- You own, oversee and manage timely payroll processes across multiple countries, including Germany, Norway, the UK, the US, Australia, and Poland.
- You are a sparring partner to the Head of People Operations and C-Level management to bring payroll at PERGOLUX to the next level.
- You collaborate with tax accountants and payroll service providers in each region to ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
- You review and validate payroll data to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- You address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- You issue employment-related documents for employees.
- You track and manage employee absences while preparing detailed analyses, reports, and statistics.
- You maintain and regularly update employee master data records.
- You provide support for employee on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
- You identify areas for improvement in payroll processes and implement projects and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

**What You Bring**:

- A completed education in HR management, ideally with a specialization in payroll.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, preferably with exposure to international payroll processes.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in at least one of the listed countries, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn about payroll regulations in other countries.
- A strong affinity for numbers and the ability to work confidently with calculations and data as well as a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across multiple time zones.
- Excellent English and German skills are required.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
