Tasks
- Conduct theoretical and experimental research to develop new technologies, imaging methods and components for medical imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, CT, X-Ray).
- Improve imaging techniques, signal processing algorithms, and image reconstruction methods to enhance the quality of images.
- Perform measurements, tests, and characterizations on devices to evaluate their performance and ensure they meet specifications.
- Evaluate the safety of the equipment in terms of magnetic fields and electromagnetic radiation according to national and international standards.
- Analyze problems and malfunctions occurring in equipment and develop troubleshooting solutions in collaboration with customer service and technicians.

**Requirements**:

- Completed university degree in Physics, Medical Technology or Electrical Engineering
- Profound knowledge of the functionality of MRIs, CTs or similar devices
- First experience with engineering or maintenance of electrical devices
- Fluent in German
