- Hardware-related software development in the automotive environment, with all its challenges in real-time behavior and resource efficiency
- Working with software and hardware teams in the definition and analysis of features of an operating system
- Supporting the creation of solution concepts for scheduling and resource handling problems
- Supporting the evaluation and analysis of various features of an operating system
- If suitable, there is the opportunity to continue the topics arising from the field of work as a bachelor's or master's thesis

**Your qualities are**
- At least in the 3rd semester of a bachelor's degree in the field of embedded systems or (technical) computer science or electrical engineering with a focus on information technology
- Basic understanding of operating system concepts and fundamentals of a preemptive scheduling
- Basic experience and knowledge of the challenges in hardware-related software development
- Self-motivated, problem-solving oriented, with an eye for detail, without losing sight of the overall task
- Good English and German skills
