**Team mission**:
Our mission is making sure that all invoices and bills are paid on time, books are kept accurate, month/quarter/year-end is closed in a timely manner. The Accounting Services Team is aiming for providing controls through our policies and procedures including a variety of functions associated with the process of making non-payroll payments to suppliers and employees. Identification of process improvement opportunities is closely tied to the above mentioned activities.

**You will**:

- Register incoming invoices in the system using appropriate account codes
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Administer all expenses, monitor reimbursements and ensure processing in accordance with GetYourGuide's expense policy
- Set up new supplier accounts and amend existing supplier details as necessary
- Reception and sorting all the post
- Control of workflow process, finding the solution independently when the problem arises

**Who you are**:

- You have a degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experienced in the finance dept, ideally in the AP or payments related field
- Fluent in English, and German language skills are a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
- Very good Office skills (especially Excel)
- You have an eye for detail and are able to work at pace whilst processing large volumes of transactions accurately
- Independent and structured way of working as well as a team player with reliable time management
- Eager to learn and improve
