Edrs Moc Operator

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
You will have the following responsibilities:

- Real time coordination of the Service Delivery Operations of the whole EDRS System (Space and Ground Segment);
- Monitoring of the Space Data Highway service execution and performance and reporting of incidents to the customers;
- First Point of Contact for the Space Data Highway service to the customers (User Help Desk);
- Supervision of EDRS Service planning and reporting to the EDRS Operations Manager in case of conflicts;
- Monitoring and control of the following EDRS subsystems: PMOC/BMOC, EDTE/DCSU, IT Network Infrastructure, Dwell Ground Station (DWGS);
- Monitoring of the payload downlink signal via the Carrier Spectrum Monitoring system;
- Data collection to allow engineering troubleshooting after anomalies or trend analyses;
- Activation of EDRS Engineering support when required;
- Activation of EDRS IT Infrastructure team on call support when required;
- Activation of HDGS engineering on call support when required by AMC;
- Ingestion of ad-hoc Space Segment activities (Routine and Basic Payload Requests);
- Supervision of the automatic distribution of the EB9B and EDRS-C satellites orbit to the users;
- Supervision of the automatic distribution of the EDRS Service Availability and Communication Schedules to the users and to the EDRS operations entities;
- Management of the EDRS Service;
- JIRA Ticketing System (User Help Desk) Supervision and logging of EDRS Service Key Performance Indicators (KPI);
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly Operations Reporting to the customer and management.

The EDRS MOC Operators' additional engineering tasks and responsibilities are:

- Development, testing and maintenance of EDRS MOC operations products (SOP/MOH/EOIP/POI);
- Management and configuration control of the EDRS MOC operations products (SOP/MOH/EOIP/POI) change process, in delegation/support of SOP Manager;
- Preparation, update and maintenance of training material;
- Engineering support for 2nd level anomaly investigation and resolution;
- Support to EDRS Service Delivery Team for Preparation of monthly customer KPI report and monitoring of KPI achievement;
- Update and maintenance of Alarm Knowledge Base systems;
- Technical and Trends analysis about anomalies and EDRS sub-systems performances;
- Monitoring of service delivery performances and continuous improvement of service delivery processes;
- Support to the Service Delivery Team and the implementation teams for the integration and testing of new generation EDRS sub-systems in the operational environment.

**Skills & Experience**:
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in aeronautics and aerospace or equivalent;
- Knowledge of Linux and Phython is an asset;
- Experience in the field of space and operations is desirable;
- Experience in satellite and/or ground segment operations would be a plus
- High focus on customer and service;
- Willingness for 2-shift work, also on weekends;
- High level of motivation, self driven with high flexibility and good communication skills;
- Ability to operate in a multi-national team organisation;
- Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
