We are currently looking for a skilled & passionate **(Technical) Product Owner (M/F/d)** to become part of one of our ABOUT YOU Backend Applications team.

Our ABOUT YOU Backend Applications team is responsible for the implementation of efficient and seamless backend system solutions to handle our retail business across all our ABOUT YOU shops in all countries we operate in. The ABOUT YOU Backend Application integrates external partners (merchants) and is our quality gate for their data, covering diverse data transformation and enrichment processes.

With a great sense of business and deep knowledge of the retail Backend Systems the ABOUT YOU Backend Applications team builds solutions and delivers features that serve the business needs and enable our ambitious growth plans.

**Challenges**:

- Managing the complexity of a high number of merchant integrations interacting across four business models in over 25 countries
- Achievement
- Launch of the new business model “multi-channel fulfillment”, allowing partners to sell on 3rd party platforms via one single ABOUT YOU integration.
- Minimized the manual workload and sources of error by automating the partner creation process across various ABOUT YOU systems

**What you will do**
- Manage a development team (circle) by taking primary responsibility for the team's output (work in an agile working culture using SCRUM or Kanban)
- Analyze business processes, create concepts as well as solution options and translate them into technical tasks
- Prepare sprint tasks and ensure developers remain unblocked by identifying and solving issues in an efficient and pragmatic way
- Work closely together with stakeholders and other product teams with clear guidance regarding cross-system solutions
- Challenge business requirement to minimize technical complexity while maintaining business value
- Act as a role model for your team, keep spirits high, get yourself involved wherever needed and bring drive into your project topic

**Who you are**
- You have min. 2 years product owner related experience
- Technical Background, ability to communicate effectively with developers
- Experience with analyzing complex business processes and deriving new or improved tech processes from them
- Analytical, data-driven, and efficiency-focused approach
- Able to manage a stakeholder group and define and communicate a prioritized set of requirements
- Basic understanding of Programming Languages (e.g. PHP) and Frameworks (e.g., Laravel) commonly used in Backend Development including Databases (SQL) and APIs
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Proactive Attitude, Willingness to Take Responsibility
- Always Prepared, Well-Organized, and Punctual

Additional Information

**Working model**:
Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg on a weekly basis. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
