The Data Management officer is responsible for the company wide implementation of the data governance framework and assist data governance activities.

**Your tasks**:

- Work together with Change, Compliance and IT to manage data risk and change (DSOC) within agreed risk appetite
- Define, monitor and report on data management risk and control indicators
- Maintain the data governance framework and procedures and implement the data governance framework
- Assist and coordinate the data quality issue management
- Assist implementation of and maintenance of data domain business data dictionaries, data quality requirements and controls of critical data
- Support data stewards with identifying critical data and data quality rules
- Contribute to the assessment of new suppliers and relevant contract negotiations and to the review of existing suppliers in the area of Data Management
- Provide trainings in data management for data governance specific roles.
- Act as an ambassador and advisor for Data Quality and contribute to build a culture of continuous improvement of Data Quality

**Your knowledge/experience**:

- Educated to degree level in a data related discipline
- Knowledge of data management frameworks (ex. DAMA -DMBOK, DCAM)
- Several years of professional experience in data management and project management
- Excellent analytical skills
- Capability to build effective and collaborative relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in English (Dutch and/or German is a plus)
