Be part of it and let's shape the world of tomorrow together. **What awaits you**: - As a Cyber Defense Germany Expert (M/F/d), you will be part of a team of highly motivated "cyber defenders" and thus make an essential contribution to the defence against cyber attacks and threats. - As part of a global, multinational team of cyber security experts, you will shape the development of a secure, networked future for our customers and the digital society. - Exciting and challenging tasks await you, ranging from the management of all technical activities in the area of patch and vulnerability management to cooperation in serious cyber security incidents. - You are the process manager for one or more of the core processes: Cyber Security Incidents, Customer Security / Abuse Management and Vulnerability Management and actively drive them forward. - You support the creation of management reports on all cyber defence relevant topics. - As an Expert Cyber Defence, you are the primary contact person for the Cyber Defence team up to division manager level, with the aim of maintaining the security level for Vodafone Germany. **What makes you stand out**: - A degree in computer science or business informatics, business administration / economics with a focus on IT or cyber security or a comparable qualified professional training. - High understanding of security risks and adherence to the balance between cyber security and business impact. - Strong communication skills to present complex issues in a simplified manner. - Organisational skills with a high attention to detail. - Ability to think outside the box, curiosity or willingness to learn new things. - Strong practical experience in cyber security - especially in the areas of vulnerability management, penetration testing and red teaming. - Practical experience in operational IT security management. Experience in working with SOC, NOC or CERT is an advantage. - Willingness to be on call regularly as Incident Manager-on-Duty. - Ability to identify and implement structural change potential. - Fluency and negotiation skills in German and English, both written and spoken (C1 according to CEFR). This position can be full-time or part-time (at least 30 hours). Severely disabled applicants will be given special consideration if they are equally qualified.
