**The role**:
Forget Finance empowers everyone to worry less about finance and create a more joyful life. With that purpose, we are building a personal financial coach that simplifies and automates your finances holistically. We received €4.2m funding from top-tier VCs and business angels in order to achieve our ambitious goal: Guide and manage the financial life of 10 million millennials by 2030. We are looking for a Data Engineering Intern who will be playing a crucial role in enabling us to make data-driven decisions. Success in this role will be defined by building useful architecture including data warehouses and pipelines. If this gets you fired up, then reach out to us

**Your responsibilities**:

- Expand and maintain our data warehouse to achieve a global view of all company data and enable exploratory analyses
- Identify data needs for the business and product team, understand their specific requirements for metrics and analysis, and build efficient and scalable data pipelines to enable company-wide data-driven decisions
- Design, develop, and own data pipelines and models that enable powerful analytics
- Be responsible for creating transparency by building insightful dashboards and reports

**About you**:

- You are an advanced student in mathematics, physics, data science, computer science, information systems, economics or a related field.
- You have practical experience in building data pipelines or conducting data analyses through a prior internship or personal projects.
- You have experience in SQL (TypeScript, Python and R is a plus).
- You offer strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial drive.
- You are heavily interested in new technologies and finding uses and insights for all types of data.
- Your are able to communicate clearly with stakeholders from different teams.
- You are excited about working in a fast-moving and agile company.
