**You will enjoy having this responsibility:
The Head of Operations, manages and develops all the dedicated teams in order to guarantee the efficient execution of the operational backbone of the Transportation Business in and from Germany.
**It also involves the following tasks:
- Managing the Operations Functions, in coordination with the respective Corporate Function head: Supply Chain, IS&IT, HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), Real Estate and Facility Management, Competitiveness and LEAN
- Managing the operational departments Resource Planning (incl. Workload Management), Order Management (incl. Export Control) and Installation as part of the field deployment process
- Consolidating the Unit performance plan (incl. Continuous Improvement) and implementing it within the whole organization (Unit)
- Deploying the Groups policies related to all operational matters, controlling their implementation and the achievement of the associated objectives
- Facilitating and supporting all the structures, entities of the Unit, to develop business synergies, improvements and best practise sharing
- Proactive contributing to the elaboration of the Multi Year Budget, to its execution and to the Business Opportunity Reviews, ensuring that the yearly budget is duly executed and delivered by the Unit entities
- Driving the Group MTIP (Medium Term Industrial Plan) preparation and driving the execution and its deployment within the Unit
**Reporting Line:
- Reports to the Unit Management (Legal entity) and Business Line Operations Function
**You have:
- Graduate with a degree in science or engineering. Business Administration (Economics) or similar educational background
- Several years of relevant operational and managerial experience
- High level of technical / operational expertise, analytical and intercultural skills and expertise
- Experience in working in an international and multinational group with partners outside Germany
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with experience in developing its direct reports, especially in regards to Leadership dimension
- High degree of results orientation, focus, drive, energy, enthusiasm and intrinsic motivation for change
- Business fluent in German and English
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
