Do you want to contribute to the development of an innovative company for cancer therapy?
Tasks
In this versatile function, you are responsible for the operational and strategic management of all in-house and research collaboration activities (from formulation to preclinical/biological characterization) and report directly to the CEO. You lead and guide a research team consisting of eight employees. You improve efficiency, optimize resources and processes while tracking and deploying state-of-the-art technologies. Furthermore, you represent the company at scientific conferences and business development-oriented events. You interact regularly with the CEO, COO and Business Development and give significant impulses to drive strategic decisions and future milestones of the company.
**Requirements**:
Do you have a Ph.D. degree in (Bio)chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical sciences or any related field? Do you have several years of experience in the industry, in the development of drug delivery systems, preferably with lipid-based carriers? May you also have general drug development experience (Research to Phase 1)? Apart from leading Research projects do you wish to act as a key initiator for innovation, generating new inputs and working cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders? Would you enjoy managing an international, highly dedicated, Research team within a dynamic and flexible environment? Eventually, do you wish to have the unique opportunity to make a great impact in the oncology field?
