Procurement Specialist

**Your role**:
You will support our production sites and last mile depots in all purchasing activities to ensure the timely provision of goods. You have a keen interest in operational processes and their continuous improvement and are ready to take responsibility in a dynamic work environment from day one.

**This role is available for a 24-month contract (extension possible).**

**Your area of responsibility**:

- You create purchase orders and support setting up catalogs for the purchase of goods in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
- You communicate with suppliers to follow-up on purchase orders and resolve any issues concerning price, quality, delivery or invoicing
- You develop a process to assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure compliance with HelloFresh policies and manage performance improvement actions (on time delivery, order confirmation, invoicing etc.)
- You are the link between the colleagues on-site and our central procurement team, developing lean processes that are in line with general procurement processes
- You support the procurement Manager in preparing proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions and contracts with vendors

**Your profile**:

- You have a university degree in a relevant field like Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing
- You speak German with a native speaker's competence and also very good English
- You have at least 3 years of professional procurement experience, particularly in operational roles or tasks
- Ideally, you have already gained experience in working in a matrix organization and have learned to engage with several internal stakeholders
- You are willing to travel domestic up to 20%
