Head of Procurement

**About the job**:

- You develop the long-term strategy and vision of the DACH Procurement team, as well as the roadmap to achieve this by creating outstanding Procurement functions
- Developing, enhancing and publishing clear SOP's and associated RACI's, supported by relevant training and change communications
- You partner with the wider Global Procurement team and align initiatives to the Global CPO strategy to identify opportunities for tactical work to be outsourced or offshored to locations within the Dentsu Group
- Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all 3rd party managed spend including contingent workers, internal cost centers, supply side costs as well as key internal business stakeholders, aligning strategic direction and engagement across functions, as well as driving an efficient and effective team
- Partner with relevant teams including Finance, Legal, Data Protection, Social Impact and Security leadership to ensure processes and governance are administered in the contracting of all third-party agreements
- You develop the internal reporting of Procurement KPI's and metrics for Merkle and Dentsu Executive team and ensure that the supply chain is safe, sustainable and appropriately accredited to manage supply chain risk
- Define system and technology requirements and introduce appropriate approvals into the system for the onboarding of 3rd party contingent workers

**Qualifications**:

- You have a Graduate Degree (Business Studies or equivalent), MCIPS is a bonus
- Several years of experience of leading effective Procurement functions, including strong people development skills
- You have experience in selecting and implementing end-to-end use of S2P tools and a strong experience in Technology Procurement
- You are familiar with supply chain principles, procedures and methods, supplier performance improvement and category management tools & techniques
- Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence
- You are experienced in ambiguous and agile environments and delivering strategic business objectives within a matrix operating model structure
