Technical Purchaser

** We are looking for a technical purchaser (M/F/d) for our location in Betzdorf KYOCERA AVX Components (Betzdorf) GmbH.

**Reports To**: Planning Manager

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Obtaining offers as well as comparing offers with regard to prices and conditions for technical components, armatures, sensors and machines
- Clarification of technical specifications for the products to be procured
- Supplier selection in cooperation with the product development and quality assurance departments
- Recording all supplier or product data in our ERP system
- Placing of orders and purchase orders for parts, armatures, sensors and machines
- Determination of demand for the corresponding components and development of a quantity structure for annual price negotiations
- Support in the preparation and optimization of product calculations
- Logistical and commercial processing of complaints

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in industrial engineering and professional experience in the fields of responsibility
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of common quality standards and customer requirements for the logistics and purchasing area
- Technical knowledge in the area of ISO 9001
- High degree of initiative and sense of responsibility, motivational talent
- Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA desirable
