In this role, you will support Ottobock's digital unit at the Berlin or Duderstadt site in actively driving the digital transformation of the medical sector. You will work in the exciting interface between our core organization, internal Digital Startups and external partners.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- You support in problem analysis as well as definition of requirements and design parameters
- You compare, evaluate and select developed concepts
- You take care of the elaboration of design concepts using 3D free-form modeling (e.g. Rhino)
- You support the optimization of 3D printing processes for selected products
- You generate the corresponding documentation
**Profile**:
- Student of mechanical engineering, medical technology, or similar
- Experience in the field of additive manufacturing processes (FDM printing)
- Knowledge of graphics and 3D software (Rhino / Creo) desirable
- Enjoy designing technical solutions in a heterogeneous environment
- Creative and goal-oriented thinking
- Independent, proactive and structured way of working coupled with a strong hands-on mentality
