In a nutshell
In this internship, you will gain valuable experience in the commercial operations side at one of hospitality’s most dynamic brands. Against a backdrop of new parameters and shifting norms, this internship will provide valuable insights into a Global Reservations and Sales department focusing on event management. Areas of focus include how to drive increased revenue for our international hotel members, and how to help them to connect with travel trade.

- Compensation: 1000 EUR / month
- The internship must be a compulsory part of the study program

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Consult group clients in sourcing hotels for events and conferences.
- Convey the highest standards of product knowledge and delivery of first-class service to individual, high-end and VIP clients as well as travel & event agencies at all points of contact
- Assist in maximizing revenue for the voice channel whilst maintaining brand and professional integrity
- Support EMEA Sales team within various projects including event preparations
- Use the Central Reservation System in accordance with the SOPs to ensure the highest levels of customer service and for maintenance of the system
- Manage allocated projects
- Ensure high level of attention to detail with all given work
- Prioritize workload, working within given deadlines ensuring client budgets and specific requirements are met
- Manage allocated projects
- Process administrative tasks including accounting queries, promptly and accurately
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients & suppliers
- Assist and support the team in achieving sales objectives and goals
- Act as an ambassador of the Design Hotels brand towards partners, clients and member hotels
