cirplus is building the B2B-marketplace for circular plastics. We are based in Germany, but our ambition is global. Our vision? To make plastic 100% circular, so that no more plastic enters the environment. We accomplish this goal with our next generation B2B-marketplace,
connecting the plastic & recycling industries. To make it easy and efficient to turn waste into a valuable resource and thus catalyse the transition to a more circular planet.

Aufgaben

We are seeking a highly-skilled, intrinsically motivated CTO with a storied history in the technological sector and a passion for deploying his/her skills in the green tech space. You will be managing all technical aspects of our organisation to ensure that they are in line with the company's growth targets. You should be hands-on in all aspects of our product, be ready to code significantly yourself and comfortable with high pace of iteration and constant customer feedback loops.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build product & code, leading by example
- Shape & manage the entire tech team
- Challenge and improve the product strategy in close collaboration with our customers, with the goal to achieve operational excellence
- Map out the procurement process for circular plastics and break it down into ambitious, yet achievable work packages in our product roadmap
- Establish lean, agile and highly iterative product development
- Monitoring web analytics and making recommendations that align with business goals
- Making executive decisions regarding our company’s technological needs
- Ensure the tech team that can work at scale without compromising on agility or quality of the software development
- Try, fail, learn, repeat Getting into the mind of our customers and understanding the world of plastics and recycling, B2B marketplaces, procurement and sales in legacy industries.

Qualifikation

YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience as a start-up tech leader (CTO or similar tech leadership role)
- An ambitious, curious, and intrinsically motivated person, who is eager to learn and push our tech to the next level
- You follow & understand latest technological trends to foster our tech & product strategy
- You set priorities in your daily work schedule and you know when to pay close attention to details and when to move on.
- You enjoy working in performance
- and numbers-driven tech environments
- Previous experience as founder or early employee in early-stage or growth stage companies (Seed to Series B) is a big plus, as is working in B2B-marketplaces or enterprise SaaS
- You can communicate in English fluently and enjoy building and leading teams of engineers
