Aufgaben
- You will pro-actively initiate preparation/maintenance of project budgets with Project Managers, challenge the assumptions made, and monitor actuals versus budget
- You will control and monitor relevant project processes and documents (compliance, purchasing, subcontracts, audits, insurance, project risks, etc.)
- You will be responsible for the timely delivery of project results for monthly and quarterly reports, including project forecasts for the financial reporting
- You will collect, monitor and analyze relevant financial and project data to identify improvements and trends
- You will develop, implement, and enhance relevant procedures and processes in close cooperation with the relevant teams to increase efficiency
- You will audit projects on a regular basis and communicate results and improvement suggestions (finance, tax, compliance, contracts, etc.)
- You will explain to colleagues without any financial background what the Finance department requires, and vice-versa
- You will report within our matrix organization to the Country Business Controller and the Department Head

Qualifikation
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance with a focus on Controlling Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
- Professional experience in project controlling, ideally in an engineering company or a company in the construction industry
- Solid knowledge of basic legalities (VOB A/B and HOAI) as well as claim management
- Experience in negotiating and contracting
- Hands-on mentality and analytical skills with affinity to financial topics and project risks
- Proactive, accurate, and well-developed communication skills
- Business fluent German (C1) and English (B2), written and spoken
- Willingness to travel (around 5% of the time)
