Your tasks
- Central hub of expertise on sustainability fundamentals
- Continuous monitoring and interpretation of sustainability regulations, requirements, accounting and reporting standards (e.g. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, GDDL/LkSG)
- Outreach to regulators and standard setters on existing and upcoming regulations
- Representation of Continental in relevant formats (e.g. conferences), memberships and associations
- Preparation of relevant material for oversight by Executive Board and Supervisory Board
- Coaching and training of relevant functions
- Active participation in associations (e.g. econsense, DRSC, etc) and other external formats related to accounting principles
- Support of the annual reporting process regarding sustainability reporting fundamentals
- Actively contribute to the successful implementation of Continental's sustainability ambition

**Profile**:

- Academic degree in relevant area
- Several years of professional and/or academic experience with sustainability
- Profound expertise in relevant areas of sustainability fundamentals, regulations, requirements, accounting and reporting standards including CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, GDDL/LkSG, Corporate Governance Code (DCGK), German Commercial Code (HGB), Financial Accounting (esp. IFRS) and sustainability standards like ISSB, TCFD, GHG Protocol, GRI, etc.
- Experience regarding regulations management, regulatory affairs, assurance processes, traceability and audit trails, controlling processes, data management or corporate reporting
- Experience in a matrix organization and in managing different stakeholder interests
- Business Fluent English and German language skills (written and spoken)
- Highly iterative and structured workstyle
- Strong analytical capabilities
- High motivation for constant learning
