At a Glance:
Due to a propelling growth in our direct to consumer business, we are looking for a Technical Search Engine Optimisation Specialist with a technical background to shape the future of On’s organic acquisition initiatives through search and content enhancement. You will work in a cross functional team together with digital channel owners, UX designers and developers working towards gold-standard SEO practices. You have a passion for improving on-site relevance and search visibility, while keeping the end user in the forefront. An entrepreneurial drive and strong hands-on execution will be imperative to shape and grow the brand. The position is to be based in Zurich.

Your Team:
As you might expect from a running brand, the E-Commerce team at On is a fast-paced place to be. This team of interdisciplinary all-stars are used to rapid turnaround times and ambitious targets. From engineers to designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists, this is the team responsible for creating winning digital products and campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel. The shared goal? Efficient growth at high speed - what else?

Within the acquisition team specifically, you will collaborate closely with channel managers and own On’s organic performance, ensuring growth in line with paid channels.

Your Mission:

- Enhance On’s global search visibility and grow organic performance on desktop, mobile, and potential app environments, through on-site, off-site and technical SEO activities
- Planning, supporting and executing technical SEO initiatives, including website migration, with our in-house development team (optimise crawl budget, Javascript rendering, etc.)
- Work with in-house development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code, while constantly striving to improve page speed
- Maintain healthy and clean site indexation, recommending changes to website architecture, navigation, internal linking, content and other factors
- Working side-by-side with engineering and development teams to ensure we adhere to SEO friendly processes and SEO best practices to improve page structure, code and resources compliance, meta data, structured data and accessibility standards

Your Story:

- 2 to 3 years' hands-on experience with SEO, from an on-site, off-site as well as technical perspective
- Solid experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO knowledge bases and support tools (Semrush, Botify, Screamingfrog, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the indexation and ranking behaviours of search engines
- You like to stay up to date on the latest trends and developments in our ever-changing industry, with ability to come up with creative solutions to propel growth
- Self-driven, entrepreneurial and excellent problem solver. Enjoys coming up with creative, data-backed solutions in a fast paced agile environment
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints a bonus
- Fluent in English
