**Product Owner - SMART AWS (M/F/d)**

The Cloud Platform Team provides a standardized and pre-configured public multi-cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP) for the development of innovative solutions in a DevOps manner. This platform augments the hyperscaler native environment with enhanced capabilities for a secure, compliant and cost-efficient cloud utilization. It provides a maximum of autonomy to our consumers while facilitating adherence to Bayer regulations. To manage and drive the positive business value of our **SMART AWS product** in a DevOps manner we are looking for a **Product Owner** to become part of our team.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Define product scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
- Set expectations with stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
- Act as the voice of the DevOps teams to guide all stages of public cloud infrastructure automation development, including user story development, sprint planning, and prioritization of the product backlog
- Understand business and DevOps Team needs and identify and prioritize features to be delivered to meet those needs
- Participate in sprint planning to determine the team’s objectives for the upcoming sprint as well as prioritize and maintain the product backlog
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements, and team retrospectives as well as ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps
- Lead the sprint review meeting to present the output from the sprint to key stakeholders
- Analyze feedback from sprint reviews, and other data such as end user feedback and operational metrics, to identify and understand product needs
- Work with the cloud operations engineers to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures and done as well as assist the team on the development of feature tests, test cases, and regression tests

**WHO YOU ARE**
- You have a university degree in information science or similar with long-term professional experience
- Strong experience of applied agile project management or related experience
- Certification as Product Owner (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification)
- Deep Working knowledge of AWS public cloud infrastructure automation and cloud native development., AWS certification preferred
- Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- You are a self-starter with the ability to shift directions quickly and to motivate others
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
