**Your Tasks**:

- Lead SAP Platform teams covering Cloud, Basis, Archiving and Authorization
- Centralize coordination of development operations and underlying resources (e.g. environments, pipelines, tools), shorten of software QA phases
- Establish a foundation team for omni-channel platform to significantly increase usage, stability and availability of omni-channel test environments
- Be a driver of the Omni Channel Spine and Enterprise Platform Engineering Discipline end to end
- Be responsible for large budget, planning, delivery and KPI achievement
- Lead and expand software license management for OCSE domain teams
- Tactically steer day to day SAP platforms operations and 3rd party managed services to ensure 24x7 business continuity
- Align scope and budget for contracts with 3rd party providers and join potential RFP processes to represent the engineering view
- Own the technical backlog - progress the architecture, impel and align technical improvements, software development practices, high code quality, compliance, DevOps and create a culture of engineering excellence

People Management
- Selects team members for the domain (recruiting) and for the product teams
- Embrace a healthy culture of growth and success, appreciate achievements and build a common Vision and Strategy
- Skill & Performance assessment of employees based on the feedback from the responsible Competency Leads, Product Owners, Lead Product Owners and Agile
- Challenges promotion proposals and submits proposal to responsible VP or leadership team for decision
- Manage the performance of the domain/product teams
- All administrative tasks for direct reports

**Your Profile**:

- Several years of experience in software development, architecture or technical project leadership
- Experience and end-to-end understanding of software and processes in a large scale, high volume, omni-channel retail or enterprise environment
- Deep knowledge in Enterprise and modern SAP technology and product frameworks covering Finance, Supply Chain, HR and Basis Administration
- Profound knowledge in SAP and Software license management
- Experience in building and managing a passionate and high-performing team
- Knowledge in release management and holistic steering of delivery of multiple teams contributing to a single platform/product
- Ability to navigate and to set KPIs around FinOps, Code quality and Cycle Times within supported teams
- Familiar with common DevOps technologies (K8s, Terraform, Github, Opsgenie, etc.) and programming languages
- Ability to structure complex topics and bringing in architectural models and translate those into platform architectures
- Knowledge of compliance and security frameworks is a plus
- Agile way of working and a basic understanding of SCRUM, reliable presentation and evangelism skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation
- Experience in scaling up team capacities and leading multiple teams at multiple locations
- Able to communicate to Top Management as well as to Engineers
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
