All about the role
As a Head of UX Research, you will build & develop a high-performing UX research team that ensures that our products are deeply rooted in insights about our users, meet their most important needs, and offer world-class experiences. This is a key leadership position within the Product & UX organisation as we look to develop our products into a world-class user-centred brand.
As part of this varied role, we’re counting on you to:
- Create and evangelise a vision for what UX Research at JET should look like - and develop and implement a strategy to achieve that vision
- Develop a vibrant, hard-working team of researchers and managers while encouraging and mentoring them to grow their professional skills and achieve their ambitions
- Ensure a quality standard for UX Research and ensuring it aligns with & contributes significantly to product team goals and ways of working
- Ensure a user-centric and insights-driven product development process and culture.
- Making sure tools, budget, processes are in place to do high quality and efficient research.
Can you deliver
Here’s what we’re looking for from our new Head of User Research:
- A solid background working in technology companies with a combination of B2C, B2B or logistics experience with a track record in delivering material results.
- An outstanding, empathetic and self-aware people leader, with experience building, managing, and coaching teams of 5+ people.
- Excellent understanding of UX research methodologies, and passionate about crafting an environment where every person values discovery and is user-focused.
- Ensuring research work and insights bring tangible value to design, product, and business decisions. While being focused on achieving sustainable long-term success
- Outstanding organisation skills and ability to coordinate the research team across the different domains, and can ensure we are aligned across the strategic bets
