At MAGNOTHERM, we are developing a revolutionary refrigeration technology that has the potential to eliminate 40% of the energy demand and 100% of the direct greenhouse gas emissions in this sector. Our vision is to provide everyone with the cleanest and most sophisticated cooling solutions to reduce climate impact and costs. Founded in 2019, our start-up is a spin-off of the Technical University of Darmstadt.
We have built an outstanding technical team with expertise in various fields. With our first significant financing round, we are on the outlook to pair the technical team with a first-class business team to bring this highly efficient, carbon-saving technology to market. - You are responsible for designing, prototyping, and testing new products.
- You conduct user research, testing, and analysis.
- You translate our vision and mission as a company in a compelling product design.
- You work closely with the development and production team to build the future of refrigeration systems.
- You help the marketing team to create a strong brand for MAGNOTHERM and POLARIS within Europe and beyond.
- You research newest trends in product design, refrigeration, and prototyping.
**what you would ideally bring to the table**:
- You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that the final product meets design specifications and quality standards.
- You have proficiency in various design software, including Adobe Photoshop, AutoCAD, Rhino, Blender, Cinema4D, and other 3D modeling programs.
- You are able to think critically and problem-solving oriented, identifying design issues, and proposing effective solutions.
- You have experience with user research, usability testing, and user-centered design methodologies.
- You have a strong understanding of design principles, such as form, function, and aesthetics.
- You are adaptable and open to feedback, able to iterate on designs and make improvements based on user and stakeholder feedback.You have excellent communication skills and are native-speaking English.
- You are intrinsically motivated to improve the world and are convinced that we can make a difference in fighting global warming.
