Be a Strategic Procurement Business Partner for the Preclinical & Clinical Development areas

Analyse, assess and manage supplier performance (supplier management)

Ensure compliance with company and departmental guidelines and manage the Strategic Procurement support of the Preclinical & Clinical Procurement category

Develop, implement and execute the category strategy in alignment with the business partner

Manage the business relationship with external suppliers and negotiate effective supplier contracts (including MSAs, change orders) in collaboration with the business and support functions Legal, QA, Compliance, Finance etc.

Develop and implement best in class Procurement processes for the Preclinical & Clinical category

Manage and document Purchasing activities and processes in compliance with SOX, regulations and company procedures.

Anforderungen

Degree in Business Administration / Sciences or comparable qualification

Minimum of 8 years global Procurement experience preferably in Pharmaceutical/

Biotechnology industry with a strong understanding ofthe Procurement category Preclinical / Clinical Development

Experience in working in a cross-functional environment

Sound understanding of legal and financial processes

Proven ability to negotiate efficiently at senior level of the organisation as well as with external partners

Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills

Comfortable in a multicultural environment

Proactive and result-driven behaviour

Good communication skills (Written and Spoken) in English
