**Product specialist proteomics (M/F/d) Mass Spectrometry**
Remote position, based mostly out of Evotec’s Munich site
This role is 18 months fixed term
**Discover Impactful Work**:
Our collaboration partner Evotec is a life science company with a unique business model focused on delivering highly effective new therapeutics to the patients.
The company leverages its multimodality platform, the “Data-driven R&D Autobahn to Cures”, for proprietary projects and within a network of partners including Pharma, Biotech, academics, and other healthcare stakeholders.
Both companies sharing a collaboration are looking for a scientist to reinforce their interdisciplinary research team.
You will work mostly out of Evotec’s Munich site, complemented by regular development periods in Thermo Fisher Scientific facilities in Dreieich, Bremen, and San Jose.
**A day in the Life**:
- Interact closely with R&D sites in San Jose and Bremen and act as link to our collaboration partner Evotec in Munich
- Work on newest Orbitrap-based instrumentation and advanced research prototypes from our San Jose/Bremen R&D sites
- Represent the partnership of Thermo Fisher Scientific and Evotec at conferences, seminars and exhibitions globally
**Keys to Success**:
Education
- University degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, or related scientific field, possibly doctorate.
Experience
- Significant hands-on experience in LC-MS based proteomics, including method development, preferable on Orbitrap instrumentation.
- Experience in data independent acquisition is an advantage
- Experience in bioinformatics is an advantage
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong communication skills and high standard of written work
- Team and customer orientated mindset
- Ability to work independently and well-organized in a fast-paced work environment
- Fluent English, a commitment to master German language in a timely manner is expected
