If this opportunity appeals to you, come and join us in the position of Research Associate (f/m/x) Life Science Production Your responsibilities In this role, you contribute to reliable, high-quality life science products by ensuring that all production and QC processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in full regulatory compliance. You work closely with cross-functional teams and play a key part in maintaining high analytical standards Your main responsibilities include: Performing manufacturing and quality control testing of semi-finished and finished products in compliance with regulatory requirements (ISO 13485) Conducting analytical release of QC results Applying your expertise in Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) within QC workflows Ensuring that all analyses meet project-specific parameters Performing first- and second-level troubleshooting in case of QC deviations, including communication and discussion at expert level across departments Reviewing QC results and communicating non-conformities to the Team Lead, Head of Production, and Quality Assurance Communicating QC discrepancies transparently within the production team Implementing QC procedures for new products and kits transferred from R&D departments Organizing and executing device calibrations and functional tests Training new employees and sharing best practices Creating and maintaining work instructions and other QM documents in accordance with ISO 13485 Documenting production orders in SAP Maintaining hygiene standards and preventing contamination in the laboratory Independently planning and organizing laboratory work Your profile You are a great fit for this role if you bring strong laboratory expertise, a passion for quality, and a reliable, detail-oriented working style. Ideally, you demonstrate the following qualifications and strengths: A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or equivalent vocational training (e.g., BTA, MTA, CTA, laboratory assistant) At least 5 years of experience in Quality Control within regulated environments, ideally under ISO 13485 standards Strong commitment to goal-oriented, structured, and deadline-driven work A team-oriented mindset paired with strong organizational and interpersonal skills A highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-focused working style Fluency in German and solid proficiency in written and spoken English Proficiency in MS Office applications  Our benefits  We are an aspiring corporate group where respect and trust form the basis for cooperation and communication within Sysmex.
